The bright colored lights shining down on the crowd, the loud music making everyone jump and move to the beat, everyone laughing, smiling , talking , and just having the time of their lives but, me on the other hand, not so much. Here I am just standing in a corner with my head down, staring at the red cup I’m holding in my hands. I’m not really a party person but a group of my friends convinced me to come and I eventually just gave in but, of course they’re all having the best time while I’m just standing there alone. I sighed and took a sip of my drink, then all of a sudden I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked over and there he was, the boy literally every girl falls for just by looking at him , one of the most popular and especially attractive guys at our school, Lee Taeyong.

“Oh hey Taeyong” I said looking over at him

“Hey Harper, why are you over here by yourself?” he asked me

“I’m not really a party person so I’m just kind of sitting back here that’s all” I said and laughed nervously.

“Ah I understand” he said

We both sat there in silence just watching the crowd until I heard a soft chuckle. I looked over and Taeyong was laughing.

“What’s so funny?” I asked him.

“Your friend seems really into Donghyuck?” he says, taking a glance at me.

I looked over and I saw my best friend Savannah and Donghyuck talking, and seeing her get all shy was pretty funny.

“Yeah she actually has a crush on him” I said giggling.

“Really?! Hyuck has a crush on her too but he’s so stubborn and won’t admit it” Taeyong said rolling his eyes.

I giggled and looked up at him. He looked at me and smiled. Suddenly the beat of the music dropped and then my favorite song came on. Just hearing the melody made me swing my hips side to side. Taeyong noticed and grabbed the cup that was in my hands to the side somewhere. I looked up at him with a confused look.

“C’mon let’s go dance” he says holding my hand.

“Oh I’m not really that good of a dancer” I said scratching the back of my neck.

“You’ll be fine c’mon” Taeyong said, dragging me to the dance floor.

We were right in the middle of the floor, and Taeyong started dancing, while I just stood there not knowing what to do. Taeyong looked over at me and smiled while rolling his eyes playfully. He came over to me and grabbed my hand and spun me around a few times.

“Just follow my lead” he told me. He started moving right on beat and I did the same.

“See you’re getting the hang of it,” Taeyong said smiling widely.

I smiled right back at him. Moving to the beat and finding my rhythm this was all actually not that bad. I felt a pair of hands on my waist and saw that it was Taeyong. I placed my hands on his shoulders and started dancing along with him. I never thought in my life I’d be dancing with Lee Taeyong but here I am I guess. The song finished and I separated myself from Taeyong.

“See I told you it wasn’t bad” He tells me.

“Yeah yeah I guess you’re right” I said smiling at him.

“Of course I’m right I’m always right” He said pushing his hair back. I giggled in response. I looked behind and saw my two best friends Ashley and Savannah walking towards me.

“Harper!!” they both said. Taeyong looked behind and then looked at me.

“I’ll be going now thanks for dancing with me” He says patting my shoulder.

“Yeah no problem it was fun” I said waving goodbye.

Once Taeyong walked away Ashley and Savannah sped walked over to me.

“Girl you danced with Taeyong bruh” Ashley said while holding me arm.

“Yeah what about it?” I said looking at them confused.

“Oh man I don’t know maybe because literally 2.5 seconds ago you were standing in the corner being the introvert you are, then we turn away for literally a second and turn back around seeing you dance with LEE TAEYONG!!!!” Savannah says to me in a sarcastic tone.

“Well I danced with him that’s that” I said crossing my arms.

“Ohhhh does someone mayhaps have a little crush?” Ashley says, smirking.

“What no I don-”

“Ashley she likes Johnny stupid” Savannah says interupting me mid-sentece.

“Anyways speaking of Mr.Johnny Suh I think he’s pissed off.” says Savannah.

“What why?” I asked

“I’m not sure but, personally my guess is he got mad you were dancing with Taeyong” Savannah says shrugging her shoulders.

“Why would he get mad? He doesn’t even like me like that” I said while looking at them.

“ Oh oh oh sis let me tell you he likes you” Ashley says smiling widely.

“A lot,” Savannah says while putting her hands on the side of her hips.

“Mhm yeah right” I responded rolling my eyes.

Savannah and Ashley both looked over at each other and gave a ‘are you serious’ kinda look. Savannah looked behind me and her eyes widened.

“What?” I asked

“Dude Johnny is looking over at us and yeah he looks pissed off” Savannah says pointing.

I turn around and I just see him staring with a blank expression and his hands in his pockets just staring at me.

“Should I go talk to him?” I asked

“Heck no let him come to you, and he looks really scary soooo” Ashley says looking at Johnny and back at me.

“Well I’m gonna get a drink I’m thirsty I’ll be right back” I say while walking towards the bar area.

As I was waiting for my drink I felt a body pressed against me and saw two hands on the sides of me. Then I heard his voice and I knew who it was but I just couldn’t say anything.

“We need to talk… Now.”
