I’ve been the adviser of The Colt and The Corral since 2006 and I help my students create and promote quality publications in print and online.

I earned my degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas in 1999 and returned to UNT to get my teacher certification in 2004. I am certified to teach Journalism and ELA. I currently teach journalism, photojournalism, and principles of education, and I advise the yearbook and newspaper.
